Hello my dears ! Now I want to share my impressions and tell some new information about one of the famous trading domes of Bukhara , Toqi Telpakfurushon. Today we visited there to broaden our horizons and gain knowledge ,with our  coursemates, as well as our teacher was with us. 




Now I want to tell it's brief origin and history.

In the Middle Ages, Bukhara was a major shopping center. Merchants from all over the world like China , Russia,India and all other countries of Central Asia, passed along the Great Silk Road and stopped in Bukhara. As a result, Bukhara began to build up a number of bazaars and several shopping centers. Today in Bukhara there are 4 trading domes. These are : Toqi Sarrafon, Toqi Zargaron, Toqi Telpakfurushon and the Tim of Abdulla Khan II .All of these 4 trading domes are unique in architecture and design. Today we visited one of them which is Toqi Telpakfurushon. It is located on an important crossroads. You can see here an intersection of 5 roads . This dome still sells traditional head wear such as fur hats and turbans for people of all ages and genders.





Toqi Telpakfurushon literally means that "a dome of hats and headdresses " . This meaning shows that the main objects of sale were the headdresses , turbans and hats . Gold embroidered, fur or beaded hats were very popular among the local population and foreign merchants. Long before the appearance of trade shops with hats ,there was a dome with merchants of old books. After they were replaced by souvenir shops of local artisans, where musical instruments, knives and other souvenirs were sold.

Nowadays, here many souvenirs are selling thouroughly . For instance ,hats ,chlothes , headdresses, handicrafts and other souvenirs.




Here you can see some examples 😇This kind of handicraft and handmade items are attractive for our local population and also foreigners. Any time of the year If you come this dome , definitely,  you come across a big line of tourists .

4th day - Govkushon Memorial Complex

 Govkushon ensemble Hi dears ! How are you doing !? Iʼm happy to share again an amazing trip to Govkushon Memorial Complex 🙃 So , letʼs start 🥰   Govkushon madrasa was built in the early stage of the last middle ages, during the reign of the Shaybanids, in the 16th century. Various sizes of raw and ready-made bricks, wood, clay, stone, tin and similar materials were used in its construction. Between Govkushan madrasa and mosque, Shahrud disappeared. But this ditch was buried in the 1930s. The eastern side of the madrasah is two-storeyed, and there are single-storeyed cells and a mezana on the sides and back. The corner on the arch in the west of the peshtok is decorated with floral motifs, and the book part is decorated with suls letters. At the entrance, on the right, there is a mosque-room (classroom). The central courtyard (25×35 m) is surrounded by cells on four sides. The Khoja Mosque consists of an entrance porch, brick arched porches around the courtyard, a hall and a minaret.

3rd day - Boboyi Porado'z

 Boboyi Porado'z Hello everybody! Todayʼs blog is about one of the most famous and ancient places of Bukhara, Boboyi Porado'z Mausoleum. We visited there with our coursemates, as well as our teacher was with us 😇 During this trip we gained some new knowledge about its origin, importance of mausoleum, and so on. Now I'm going to share some of them. Boboyi Poradoz mausoleum is an architectural monument in Bukhara . The mausoleum was built in the 19th century and is located outside the Sallochona gate . Today, the mausoleum is located across from the Ibn Sina Library of Bukhara . The mausoleum is included in the national list of immovable property objects of the material and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan . The mausoleum was built on the grave of scholar and sheikh Hazrat Baboyi Poradoz (patchmaker). Boboyi Poradoz lived in (842-925) and lived 83 years . His profession was patchwork and shoemaking. that's why he is also considered a peer of shoemakers. In this mausoleum
